Congrats! And good luck in law school.

One word of advice: make sure you BACK UP all the writing assignments from your first year classes. I didn't, and then my computer was stolen. Most employers want writing samples, and it left me in trouble.

If you ever need more wisdom, there's a fair few FOT who've got JDs, and most are probably more qualified than I am to dispense advice.

Samir, how did you get around the lack of writing samples?


And yeah, after having been in a PharmD program for three years, I'm well acquainted with the type A douchebag I'll probably encounter in law school. Right after a test, I don't want to talk about my answers for half an hour. I want to veg out. Please don't make me think about what I put for number 5.

It's kind of unusual there are so many people that are into The Best Show and have advanced degrees. Or maybe not unusual at all.

Congrats!  I echo Samir's advice.  I had my hard drive fail on me more than once while in law school.

My advice: keep listening to the Best Show.  I'm so thankful I discovered the Best Show while in law school.  The Best Show provided much needed laughter during some stressful times.
