FOT Meetup Seattle: 3/19 Friday pre-Ted Leo

I think it was Erech who suggested a pre Ted Leo meetup this Friday before the show?

I can't make the concert itself because of having to move furniture Friday night before doing lots of painting this upcoming weekend with my partner.  (The joys of new house ownership. Didn't check for show overlap beforehand.  Wah wah excuses excuses I know)

BUT I can certainly meet up with folks in the Neumo's vicinity for food or drink somewhere before I head back home.

I just got a ticket for this Friday because I now can go.  Furniture moving and painting is now happening the following weekend. Righteous! Never mind the above jibber jabber about not making it.

btw, there are three opening bands, one of which is Calvin Johnson. Have no idea what Calvin's sets have been like... but curious.

Apparently the Spokane show tonight will be feetless? (the stage there has a small fort in front of it.)

Glad most of us enjoyed the show last night! It was impossible not to, really.

We'll make the FOT gather thing happen next time. Usually, trying to meet at the show itself gets messy, hence my attempt for the pre-show meet.

Again, next time. PFT at the Re-Bar, May 14 & 15. We will make it happen.

Sorry buddy, was totally too busy last week and missed this thread. Was running late to the show anyways, so pre-meet wouldn't have worked, so no loss.

I actually asked two separate guys if they were you based on what you said you were wearing to the show, one of them was so off-put by the question "Hey, are you mackro?" he literally left the entire side of the upstairs area we were at. Seriously awkward. I gave up after that, even though I am pretty sure we were close to one another.

Also, amazing show, needs to be said again.

I'm to blame because I *now* believe I saw you.  You were at the Ted Leo merch booth early on after doors opened. But because of lighting or something, you didn't look blonde at all, so I didn't think that was you.  Then I double-checked with your site and... *me smacking own forehead*

That said, I had no idea deep blue flannel made a comeback!  Wrong fashion choice on my part for trying to identity myself.

Also, people who are so scared/offended of being mistaken for someone else deserve to clear the way for you.  Seriously, who gets offended by that?  Weird.
