Hey everyone,
I went to the MoCCA comic book extrah-va-gahnza yesterday (which was great, by the way - my first time going), and had the chance to meet Michael Kupperman (Snake n' Bacon, Tales Designed to Thrizzle). I know that most of you know his work, but if you've never been exposed to it, I highly recommend it. Some of the smartest comedy I've ever read, especially in comics. He was a really nice dude; great to talk to and really generous with his time.
Anyway, I asked him if I could bother him for a sketch. Knowing that he drew the t-shirt design for the last Best Show premium, I couldn't help it; I asked for a sketch of Tom Scharpling. This was the result, which I'll let speak for itself. (Though I'll add that it's quickly become a personal favorite in my collection.)
