PFT Show in Seattle
« on: May 16, 2010, 02:07:34 AM »
Were there any FOTs at the show?

Paul did all new stuff, at least nothing from the two CDs.

Some favorites were:

  • He died from being alive too long.
  • Real thin slices, real thin slices.
  • Paul's impression of Sam Elliot realizing that the producers of The Contender want him to shave off his mustache.

Also, the old guy who walked past when everyone was lined up outside. He was so shocked to see people lined up for something, he swore and then kept looking back incredulously at us as he walked away.

I did went, to the Friday night show. Had only heard one tag of old material in his whole crazylong set (the part about nobody thinks god is some bearded guy on a cloud piece), but he used it in a new way so I was like yay. Meeting him afterwards was awesome, and talked FOT stuff, laughing at the thought of what Trembling Eagle really looks like (sorry to the short, not so buff guy in the bar I used as my example).

Awesome night.

Met Mackro and hung out with him for a bit, but didn't get to meet Bob Ham or his wife, and a bunch of my friends who said were going to the Friday show ended up going on Saturday. Also heard Ed Brubaker (Cap'n America) was at a show too.

Still hate the Rebar turlets though, ewww.
