I can't decide if it works as right-wing survivalist fantasy, or a critique of right-wing survivalist fantasizing. Either way I hate watching it. My ladyfriend is watching it right now and I'm hiding in the corner with my headphones on Vance-style.

at any rate, i thought it was a good start to the 4th season.  i'm ready to see what happened to four eyes who lost his lunch in the shower at the end.

I'm liking the lack of a human enemy (so far) in this season. Makes things more tense, I think, and sort of takes it back to season 1 when things were more mysterious and the characters didn't know what was going on. The Governor just got to cartoonishly villainous.
