What other message boards do you post at or used to post at?

A couple a years ago I used post frequently on a Mad Magazine fansite http://www.madmumblings.com/forum/portal.php  We got into many heated discussions about fold ins. And other discussions like should that parody of Brokeback Mountain been called Brokeback Mantan or Barebutt Manton?

ONTD is sort of a messageboard. and ONTD inso is basically a message board, and we are not a trolling community okay.

I used to post a lot on differhonestly.com.  Good site.  I return there from time to time.

i continue to read the goner board, but i don't post on there.  those people can be fucking ruthless.

personally, the FOT board is the only board that exists to me.  i have met the best people on here, in real life and online.

What's the earliest message board you guys remember posting on?

I was big into the Usenet for years & didn't really go on boards for a long time. In fact, this may be the only one i"ve participated in for longer than a few months.

Some of that I think has to do with how clunky the navigation on boards seemed to me - I always would lurk a bit before jumping in to get the lay of the land ... if it was tricky to figure out how to find unread posts, or if it seemed like there wasn't good topic groupings or whatever, I'd give up. I was so used to usenet readers.

I read this quickly and thought it said, "it was tricky to figure out how to unread posts.", and I immediately thought, "There's a way to do that?!"

That's not a zinger, AC.  That's something I actually thought with my brain.
