What was the deal with Nick Dipaolo? He looked like he got a make over.

He looked really unhealthy to me, like pale with really dark circles around his eyes even after all that makeup.

He usually looks like some old timey greaser guy.

anyone remember when someone from the set twittered about Dipalo and CK getting into a fight on set?

Yep.  Read about it on the Comedy Zone board here: http://aspecialthing.com/forum/f27/louis-ck-vs-nick-dipaolo-15607 (Louis posts on page 2 and gives his angle on the whole thing)

According to Louis on Fresh Air today, the actors don't wear makeup, and mostly wear their own clothes.

That was a hilariously realistic fight.

I pretty much can't stand Ricky Gervais, however.

I loved Ricky Gervais as the doctor. Yeah, it's pretty much a chance for him to play David Brent again, but his scene was so wonderfully obnoxious.

It's already been mentioned, but I'll give another thumbs-up to this week's Fresh Air appearance by Mr. CK. He always gives really interesting interviews.
I'll probably go into the wee hours.

Gervais reminded me more of this podcast incarnation.  He appreciates himself so very, very much.

I think I liked him best on Extras, even though The Office was the better show.

I enjoy his cackle.

i have always loved ricky gervais.  the last comedy special i saw of his was on hbo, and it was virtually all jokes about fat people and how stupid they are.  since i'm fat, it got kind of old pretty fast.  now he seems to talk about it all the time, but i may be overly sensitive to it after the special.

p.s. i am generally UNDER-sensitive to it, so I don't think i'm overreacting.

Anybody hear Louie interview Donald Rumsfield? He asked if he ate Mexican babies.
