When did I go from hating Futurama to loving it?
Breakfast- I'm havin' a time
Wheelies- I'm havin' a time
Headlocks- I'm havin' a time
Drunk Tank- not so much a time
George St.- I'm havin' a time
Brenda- I'm havin' a time
Bingo- I'm havin' a time
House Arrest- I'm still havin' a time

Also, now that I've liked certain things for a while (music, stand up comedy, etc...) I like listening to something new and saying "hey, I think I hear a little bit of blank in there.

For example, I was listening to Aziz Ansari's set on the Invite Them Up CD and thought I heard some pretty strong Mitch Hedberg influences.  That could be completely obvious or completely wrong; I don't know.  But I like to think I do.

I think Zoidberg is one of the most sublime creations ever.

I love listening to Rushkoff.  I really miss Media Squat.  Found the Disinformation podcast the other day

I'm listening right this second.

Disinformation: The Podcast - Life Inc. with Douglas Rushkoff   1:08:23   7/31/09   This episode features an interview with author and media wizard Douglas Rushkoff.  We discuss his new book, Life Inc.: How the World Became a Corporation and How to Take It Back

Also like this thread a great deal.

I think you're totally right about the Aziz/Hedberg comparison on Invite Them Up. It seems like Aziz has hit his stride since then.

I really like this book: http://www.google.com/products/catalog?q=eco+books&oe=utf-8&client=firefox-a&cid=11649618424784222469&ei=QuotTKb6HJPU2ASTs4StCA&sa=title&ved=0CAcQ8wIwADgA#p
And the projects are way fun. I've only had time to do two of them, but I hope to get through most of the book this year.

So true about Zoidberg. I'm resisting the urge to start quoting. You should all thank me. :)

I left Park Slope and moved to upstate NY last month. I'm liking the "country life" a great deal.

Good news, everyone!

I spent the 4 day weekend watching seasons of Futurama and before that, The Wire Season 1, and before that, Party Down.
