Case of the String Tie Strangler
(in this episode the murderer is an evil alternate version of the colonel)

Does Young Colonel Sanders meet other Fast Food icons?

What about a story arc taking place in McDonaldland?

The 8 year old girl who is the reincarnated soul of Dave Thomas would probably make a fantastic sidekick for The Young Colonel.

-Buckets For The Cure (Season 1 finale: When Young Colonel Sanders shows signs of becoming gravely ill after hosting a biscuit-making competition, he's forced to solve the most important murder mystery of his young career...his own!)

-A Colonel of Truth (Young Colonel Sanders is framed for murder and goes on the lam in order to prove his innocence.)

-Combination Man-Hunt and Taco Hell (Two-part special. In part one, authorities race to capture an escaped killer seeking revenge on the man sent him away: Young Colonel Sanders! In part two, the Colonel chases his nemesis into Mexico, leading to a deadly showdown in a taquería where the murderer has holed up with hostages.)

-The Twelfth Herb (After a series of ritualistic slayings of local residents with no connection other than the shared first name of Herb, Young Colonel Sanders is forced to overcome his hatred of hamburgers and reluctance to help a competitor in order to stop a doomsday cult from snuffing out BK's once famous commerical mascot.)

-This Land is Your Land, This Land is Harland (A seemingly simple investigation into real estate fraud in North Corbin leads young Harland Sanders into the most insidious and complex plot of his career. Written by Robert Towne.)
This may be the year I will disappear.

Bravo, Wes.

Two points:

1. It's called a handburger. You eat it with your hand.

2. Do you see some kind of crossover potential for Young Colonel Sanders' Mysteries, à la Homicide/Law & Order?

Wes, I fear that you would never be successful in developing things for television. You have good ideas and you actually make things happen within a season, neither of which are allowed anymore. Slow down and work in more product placement.

"This Land is Your Land, This Land is Harland" is amazing.

My less than Wes addition to the episode name game would be "Unlucky in Kentucky."
