(EDIT: originally this was Oct 15th to 17th. Thanks to Auntie Christina's 411 below however, news of The WFMU Record Fair has adjusted this to a week later.)

Nothing officially booked yet, but this is the weekend that will work out best.

I'd fly to an official Gathering Of The FOTs 2010 of course, but I'm not holding my breath. Plus it might be announced too soon for me to reserve time at work in advance. :-/ so I'm going ahead and planning this weekend to visit on my own.

Mainly, it's just been too long since I had my L&B fix...

I know you said this would be the best weekend but the previous one is NY Comic Con and the one after is the WFMU Record Fair. Just saying.

I'm definitely going to Comic Con but I may HAVE to go a second weekend for the record fair!

Agnostic Front at Santos Party House- 10/16. That's pretty New York. Pick up some change, punch some floors, hurt indiscriminately...

I will be in town that week for the CMJ Marathon and will be at the WFMU fair (it's my highlight of my trip every year).
Eagerly awaiting the release of "Pleasure Island: A Rock Fontasy"

Will probably be attending, but I'm sad to hear the Comic-Con is actually the week before the fair because a small group of my friends said they wanted to go to the Comic-Con and assumed it was the week-end of the record fair so we were going to plan the trip together and drive down at the same time.

Doesn't change my trip around, but it would have been fun to be a larger group

It's nice to learn that CMJ still exists. I had assumed that they folded when their CD magazine did.

It is definitely still around!

And you can still read their back issues of the magazine online:

I own around 50 of the samplers, from about numbers 60 - 110 or so. Usually some fun stuff every month!

What is the FOT chosen website for record reviews? I look at metacritic some, and am probably partial to Uncut more than any other magazine, but I am curious what you like. No, seriously.

One of those nights during the record fair, we should all head to HaroldBlvd's bar in Greenpoint for a meet up.
