If you are the highest bidder on the WFMU online auction Oct. 5-12!!!!!  Or sing on stage with Yo La Tengo?  So many possibilities!

I am all fudged out about this, I was gonna do this but I'm pretty sure I have to make a tuition down payment in Nov.

Spending a day in the music library?  That'd be fantastic.  I wonder how high these bids will go.

Does anyone know if FMU is doing this in lieu of an "emergency marathon" like they did last year?

There might've been an art auction one year; I remember LfM talking about a bid ... was that a place in Chelsea and then there was an online bidding function or something?

I'd like to sing onstage with Yo La Tengo. If I'm going to go to these Hanukkah shows, I should try and make them as memorable as possible.

But which song would I do? It would have to be a cover. "Love Power," maybe.

That wasn't an auction. That was just a sale. And these were prominent artists selling pieces for a tenth of their market value.

I'm picking up a refund check from my school because those jerks charged me for health insurance automatically. I apparently had to fill out a waiver. Since I already have health insurance, thank you.

So I placed a little more than the contents of that refund check, and I will not bid again. We'll see how long I stay on top.

You should just drop out of school and pay your tuition for that auction. THAT PANERA LUNCH WILL BE A MASTERCLASS AT THE GRADUATE SCHOOL OF LIFE.
