I look forward to the first highly positive review appearing in some wingnut outlet under the title "Galty Pleasures."  Oh wait, no I don't.

You know Geddy Lee will be there.
I really don't appreciate your sarcastic, anti-comedy tone, Bro!

I know this does not count because they are doing it as an HBO series, but Game of Thrones.

I kinda want to see this even though it will be painful to see the truth.

Imagining the theater experience for Atlas Shrugged, I see a bunch of Baby Boomer-aged guys with mustaches and baseball caps, sprinkled with a few younger guys who look like they'd be in a 70's progressive rock band. Rush

looks great.

though I think it's oddly ironic that using a song like Habanera in the trailer is such a boring, cliche and uninspired choice.

unless it was intentional i guess.

I like that John Galt is being played by a New Zealander.

Is the guy playing Hank Reardon a New Zealander or did I actually miss the appearance of JG (he doesn't show up until near the end in the book [Part II, I'm guessing)?

did i just out myself as being super excited to see this? i loved Ayn Rand as a young punk rocker.

Quite right.  John Galt is being played by a Canadian (who is also the director).

(Confession:  I've never read Atlas Shrugged, and neither do I plan to.)

Neither do I, but she was right on when it came to religion.  Love how she slaps down Donahue here:

I hope they cut out the part about killing people when they get too old and just make it about how the future will look like ABBA living in a shopping mall.
Oh, good heavens. I didn’t realize. I send my condolences out to the rest of the O’Connor family.
