A friend of mine recently started crocheting shopping bags out of old plastic bags.  No fusing with an iron.  No need for sewing.  Of course, I expect it will take her forever to finish one bag, but what the hell.  She has grandiose plans of making a bag for every adult in Lubec, which means she has a project for life.

I was listening to my call from last night (because I am cool like that) and at first I was like "that ridiculous "drunk" voice I did when I was talking about speakers corner was pretty over-the-top. NOBODY actually sounds like that." But then I thought I should check on youtube just to make sure. You might want to turn down the volume on your computer a little bit.
