Last week's very funny call featured the first-ever (to my knowledge -- Buffcoat and Omar can correct me, if wrong) call from a relative of Tom hailing from the maternal side of his family (Tom's Mother's Sister's Son, to be exact). It was Tom's cousin, Sherm. Short for Sherman? Alas, we never got his full name or his last name.

My solemn hope is that one day his full name is revealed to be "Shermbert."

Anyway, we also heard that Sherm has an unnamed older brother.

All of this has been added to the first post in this thread.

Namaste!

It's been a while since I updated this. My apologies to the few and proud who refer back to this thread.

I've added Rick Sherman, who's Mort Kern's son, who himself is Maurice's ste-pneph-uncle.

Also, Cyrus Dalrymple's (and Kim's Mom) unnamed wife, who's a naturopathic, New Age healer.

And finally, if anyone knows Trip Whiting's Brother's name (co-owner of the Whiting Haunted House every Halloween), that would be mucho helpful.

Keep on rockin'.

Catching up on recent calls...

Last week's Darren gem gave us Denny Monroe - the "Newbridge Pant Bandit," and Jennings Dalrymple, one of OMD's sons.

I've updated the first post accordingly.

Later Days!

Oh, I think I've mentioned this before, but does anyone remember Trip Whiting's Brother's name? Trip mentioned him back in a Fall '11 call, when he and Tom discussed "Whiting Manor" the scariest haunted house in the world.

Finished up the great Gus Brennan call (s). We learned that Montgomery Davies has a brother, Runyon.

Also, Trent L. Strauss has another brother, Tim.

Enjoy the night!

Okay, the Shropshires of Billyburg are on the board!

Also, The Roves, as in Karl and his high-school aged political manager son, Kyle.

And Trip Whiting, Jr., who unlike his father, seems to be a rather well-adjusted young man, but is sadly seeing his nascent political career destroyed by the above family.

Namaste!

I've updated the family trees with two new names from this past week's 500th Show Mega Call. Time-traveling nuclear scientist Charles DeMartini, and creepy Monroe Brother sister, Shelia.

That's HUGE. Total game-changer. I'm dead serious, too.

Darren now has THREE brothers. Tree changed accordingly.

I'm pretty sure it's Len Ploppleton, not Lynn.

That was fun to find out.

I was listening to some of the archives today and came across an old D-Plopp call, I think the one where he was live in studio from 2010, where Darren was planning on joining an ultimate fighting league.  His first fight was against Hammerhead!  Perhaps he didn't know his brothers alter ego at that point?  Or he was just bragging and that was the toughest opponent he could think of?  You never know with that guy.
Sounds like someone was working as a conduit for nature's natural vengeance.  Just like Jesus.  And some of the others.

The other week's Dom call was pretty stupendous.

It mentioned "Lon Scharpling" again ("Daddy" Roger Scharpling stole his bass amp and attached it to the roof of a Chevy Nova to play Jim Nabors's gospel album).

Lon's another brother, who, I think came up once before in Ron Scharpling's sole call to the show.  I forgot to put him on the Tree, but now he's up.

We also learned of Jessup Kern, the new judge in town and younger brother of Maurice. He's been added, too.

Namaste!

Oh boy... hopefully this hasn't been mentioned, but here something from November 8, 2005: The Owner Of Club Pizzazz Checks In, Tom Works On His Public Speaking Skills, Philly Boy Roy Is Caught Up In A Weird Alliance, And Some Talk About Whether Sammy Hagar Was In Montrose (He Wasn't).

According to PBR, his dad, Philly Boy Ray, used to do deliveries at City Hall and got the inside juice Bill Bergey's suspension from nem Eagles... something involving Bergey's jockstrap, a cheerleader, and a nun.

I don't see Philly Boy Ray listed on the Ziegler family tree yet.

Claude Monroe's son's name is Commissioner Selig Monroe, his way of sucking up to the baseball establishment so he could win the Cy Young Ribbon.
I really don't appreciate your sarcastic, anti-comedy tone, Bro!
