That was great. Easy target but people like Mamet need to be taken to task.

I have trouble with Hitchens' take on the Iraq war (he supported it). He makes great arguments for it, he knows his history, and he'll never budge from his opinion.

It just doesn't feel right though. Still love the guy.

I was about 3 hours from going to see Hitchens at a small bookstore when the appearance was canceled - he'd just found out about his illness.

Seems like he's still fighting the iconoclastic good fight, though.
