Best Show meets the Flaming Lips?
« on: July 30, 2011, 01:41:52 AM »
While getting soaked at tonight's remarkable Weezer/Flaming Lips co-headlining show at Jones Beach Friday night, my 14 year old son said "Is the drummer (Kliph from the Lips) wearing a Gorch shirt?"  I don't recall ever hearing Tom express any sort of fondness for the Lips, so I thought my son (who also owns a Gorch shirt) was mistaken.  I have been proven wrong!

I (somewhat pathetically) used to be a constant presence on the FLips' Message Board, and Kliph always struck me as a fantastic guy.  Very affable, fan friendly, funny, etc.  I declare him an honored member of the FOTs!  As if I have such power!
