"Tuesday Morning"
« on: August 17, 2011, 09:39:41 PM »
In addition to being the best morning of the week, since the Best Show comes at day's end, Tuesday Morning is also the name of a late-period Pogues song that was covered at the St. Patrick's Day-themed March 2010 Paul F. Tompkins Show at Largo.

Now, this vid may be old news to some of you, granted.  But I only just found the video, and it's really, really wonderful.  The performance has been in my head ever since.

Amongst those singing and playing along as "The Fauxgues":

Paul F. Tompkins
Ted Leo
Weird Al
Ed Helms
Sara Watkins
Eban Schletter

"The Irish Rover," which follows immediately afterwards, is awesome as well... if only for Dave "Gruber" Allen consistently cracking PFT up.

Wow, that was really great. Weird Al / Ted Leo / PFT - three distinctive voices that work really well together on this one.
