I recently watched a good doc called The Cruise. It's about Timothy "Speed" Levitch and his job as a NYC tour guide.

Richard Ayoade's SUBMARINE is up.

Paddy Considine is so ridiculously funny. Everytime I think of his hair and outfit it kills me.

That movie he directed last year sure was a laugh riot.
I'll probably go into the wee hours.

Probably will be available on Netflix about the time that season 5 starts airing which is ... sometime later this year?? I just looked it up on Google, and there doesn't seem to be any definitive information about season 5 yet.

There's no definitive date, but the season premiere's supposed to be sometime in July.

Michael Mann's "Thief".  The premise of the "one last score before I get out" may be tired but the acting is top notch (even Jim Belushi is inoffensive), especially Tuesday Weld.  A lot of late 70s/early 80s character actors. Even has Willie Nelson! You can feel the 70s transitioning to the 80s in this one.

Looks like Netflix put up the complete run of Quincy M.E.. So there's that.

Also, I noticed that Film Socialisme is available to stream. I'm not a Godard fan, but I want to watch it, just to see if it's as bad as I think it is. But first, I need to brush up on Navajo English.

Thief is one of the best movies of all time. You forgot to mention the Tangerine Dream score! So heavy. Michael Mann comes out blazing.

That Instant Watcher site is pretty neat-- if you like Asian horror, it looks like they just added Shutter and A Tale of Two Sisters, both of which are pretty entertaining.

I'm a big fan of Instant Watcher. I like being able to see a list of newly added titles as well as sort stuff by genre/Rotten Tomatoes rating. I also like that they have the date that titles are scheduled to end streaming. Sometimes there are titles added that are streaming for only a week. It helps me know if I should watch something ASAP or if I have a few months to get around to it.

Shut up Little Man! (though according to a friend who's in it, it's not super accurate and they tried to create villains where there weren't any)
