Tom making fun of LDP
« on: October 27, 2011, 02:10:35 AM »
While Tom was making fun of Larry the Perv on a recent show with dere puns (Double Dere, etc) one occured to me and it's been amusing me ever since (I'm easily amused). Taken from the motto of the SAS and the title of a movie from the 80s, someone should make a biopic of Larry Da Perv and name it 'Who Deres Wins'. I remembered it last night during Larry's call so I mocked up a poster while I was listening to the rest of the show, here it is:

I wasn't sure where to put this btw, hopefully I picked the correct forum...

that is awesome! The credits are too much lol, good times.. not to mention the dicey implied 5 stars at first glance, 1 star in reality...

I'd just like to say, I am a fan of Larry D Perv on the best show, and I agree that the monster mash is a graveyard smash and should have been played  :P

Cool.  What memory should be jogged by the Billy Budd reference?

Print this out, tack it to a pole (or someone's face!) and post an image in the Best Show Enthusiasm Rewards thread!

No reference, I just wanted people in the roles who Larry might have chosen himself. Billy Budd was the cinematographer from either Deep Throat or Debbie Does Dallas, I forget which. There are a couple of other people in the credits from those two films.

Some of the people in the credits are Best Show references, some are just creeps, D-list celebrities and/or makers of 'adult entertainment'.

There wasn't room in the cast for Alyssa Milano?

Good shout, I didn't think of her. I'll add Ms. Milano to the final version which I'll print and tack to someone's face, as per Omar's instructions.

Should I add "www.friendsoftom.com" to the bottom on the off chance that someone actually takes notice of the poster / flyer, or should I be a bit more subtle and use a QR code? Or should I just hope someone searches "Who Deres Wins" and this thread shows up in the results?

If there's any justice in the Hollywood system, Supervising Sound Editor Joseph Levelowski will win his first Academy Award for his work on this film.
This may be the year I will disappear.
