Anybody seen Flooding With Love For The Kid?
« on: October 30, 2011, 07:52:41 PM »
This guy adapted First Blood by himself in his apartment. I just saw a review of this on outlawvern.com, and can't stop thinking about it. Has anyone seen it? http://zacharyoberzan.com/title.html. I think I need to buy it, even though I doubt it will be either good or bad, just an oddity.

Yep. I know Zachary, and own the DVD, and it's pretty great. But it's exactly what you would expect it to be: a guy adapting the novel (not the movie) First Blood into a film, by himself, in his apartment. It's worth watching at least once.

If you're at all interested in background, it's actually a companion to his one-man show with Nature Theater of Oklahoma, Rambo Solo, also worth seeing if you ever get the chance.
Oh, good heavens. I didn’t realize. I send my condolences out to the rest of the O’Connor family.
