I was about 2 months behind on the best show, and have recently caught up...
Just wanted to say that I was sincerely moved by Tom's handling of Wally's "breakdown". I don't really know how to express it, other than that it was simultaneously life affirming and hilariously nuts. I don't think I've ever heard anyone do something on radio or on a podcast (or maybe anywhere) that conveyed such sincere affection and concern.
I thought it was beautiful. Nuts, and beautiful.
