At the Upfronts, The CW's Dawn Ostoff said Gossip Girl will do for NYC what The O.C. did for Orange County.  Get ready NYC!

Word is, that thing tanked at the upfronts and people are trying to make it seem like everyone loved it from the get-go, but that's not the case.

Well, yeah. That thing looks like a pile of shit.

To be fair, though, I went to a rich kids'/celebrities' kids' prep school for two years before I had enough. That school had more drugs, sex, and scandals than any show on the C-Dub. FACT.

Man, remember when that dope from the Dandy Warhols (shitty name) was on the show doing Karaoke?  ("Love Hurts," no less.) And then a couple weeks later the guy from Spoon was doing same (except it was "Veronica" ho ho ho) and you thought, "Oh no, this is gonna be their THING.  It's bad enough I have to hear that awful song at the top of every episode.  Now I stand a good chance of having to look at the Postal Service jerk do 'Build Me Up Buttercup!'"

I take it all back.  This is PRETTY GOOD.

Hey Rick - great call, man.
I got hooked into watching every episode of the show "Felicity." I liked it, but you're right: it was time that could have been better spent otherwise.

Yeah, I read that too. But I thought he wanted to be in Radio! Maybe Piz could get an internship at the Station of the Nation, the Fun 91.

That always baffled me.  It seemed like a lot of back story just to get to the stupid haircut reveal.

The end of that show - my friend calls it "The Timestorm" - was one of the worst ideas in the history of television, and almost unwatchably bad as well.

Congratulations, writing staff!
I really don't appreciate your sarcastic, anti-comedy tone, Bro!
