You can always email me your pledge in advance and I will take care of it.

I will explain everything in complete detail during the week. Hang tight and thanks for caring.

Tom.

Does anyone know when the 2011 premium package will be shipped out?

It should get mailed out hopefully in the next 4-6 weeks. Everything is manufactured except the single, which has been mastered and is off to the pressing plant early next week.

Again, I appreciate everyone's patience on this - I have worked on this thing for a full year and it is finally going to be done. And the wait is SO going to be worth it, seriously. It's so great and I'm so proud of it.

Thanks!

Tom.

Hi Tom (or anybody else who can answer my question),

I haven't pledge before so I'm new to this, but are international shipping costs figured into pledges when premiums are getting sent outside of the US? I couldn't see any reference to this on the WFMU website, apologies if I missed it. If not, roughly how much will it cost you/the station to send the premiums out to the UK as I'd like to pay the difference. Thanks.

Just pledge during my show and the station will figure it out. You'll get the premium!

Thanks!

Online pledges are as good as call-in pledges DURING THE SHOW.

Tom, the time difference to the UK is not good for pledging during the show, as I cannot stay up all night due to work commitments (god bless that poscast/archive) is there a way around that at all?
I live in the UK. All I do is take my computer to bed, set an alarm to go off during the show (say 3am), wake up, log on, donate, go back to sleep. Takes 5 minutes tops.

Then, when I get the podcast, I listen to it very carefully to see if anyone mentions my name.

And ILikeLego - as Tom says, swag/premiums arrive in the UK with no problem whatsoever.

Of course, if you're a REAL Best Show fan you'll stay up and listen to both marathon shows, no matter where in the world you live. Just sayin

Last year was my first time donating and it was a genuine thrill to hear my name mentioned and hearing Tom say "Thank you, Eric."

It wasn't that I'd thought it would be a problem and nothing I've read led me to believe it would. I just thought it was fair that I'd pay extra for shipping, otherwise the station wouldn't be getting the same amount from my pledge as they would from a pledge in the US (where shipping would obviously be cheaper).

Either way I'm looking forward to listening live to the show which I rarely get to do. I've already rearranged my university schedule :)

I couldn't do it last year but I'm looking forward to doubling my usual pledge DURING THE SHOW.  Thanks Tom.

But only during the marathon, methinks.

Last year I told WFMU to automatically charge me for donations forever. How can I donate and get the premium if it auto-donates for me? I don't NEED premiums to donate but when they are as good as Tom's and others it is so hard to resist accepting them!

I think you must be a better sleeper than I. If I set an alarm for 3AM I'm risking not being able to go back to sleep. Plus I don't think my lady-friend would thank me much for a middle of the night wake up call.

Of course, if you're a REAL Best Show fan you'll stay up and listen to both marathon shows, no matter where in the world you live. Just sayin

Martin, I can never compete with you on being a fan. I'm content to be in the lower quartile of Best Show fandom.

You can always email me your pledge in advance and I will take care of it.

I shall do that Tom, thanks very much.
