I liked it a lot. Had the advantage of UK time zone (for once!) so spent the day with them on Sunday

It works as a whole piece, rather than discrete episodes, so don't give up. I also think it will stand up to repeated viewings as it is pretty dense.

That said, it could maeby have been edited better to be a bit less flabby but I guess Mitch Hurwitz et al were taking advantage of not having to do that because it's Netflix and not 20 minutes of broadcast TV.

And personally my favorite characters were towards the back of the series so I felt like I was waiting a bit through a few of the others episodes.

But I loved it and I love this new Netflix model of distribution and freedom (for viewer and creators)

Not as funny. Still great.  It picks up.  Too much ron howard. The B Team was my least favorite episode. I think that's the 5th one. I loved the way they pieced the story together. League Of Gentlemen did the exact same thing for its last season. I think the critics are being too critical.  For 8 bucks a month Netflix is supplying a lot of entertainment.

I did two episodes. I thought it was sad, dunno if I can do the rest.

1. Not very funny
2. Everybody's so old-looking now

The stunt-casting was pretty lame except for Kristen Wiig who was awesome.

I also saw Fast 6 which was a huge let-down after the craziness that was Fast 5.

Sigh. Sometimes the new thing isn't better than the old thing!

I didn't hate the first two, but it starts picking up on the 3rd. The more you watch the more the plot comes together. Too.

I hope the movie is better than "Bring Me The Head of Dobbie Gillis"

The only thing I liked about the first few episodes was Bateman trying and failing to connect a kick to a rolling tumbleweed. As a result, I have canceled my Netflix subscription and will now exclusively rent clamshell encased VHS tapes from my local Blockbuster's.

I feel like it's insanely clever and not very funny.

I'm rewatching Season 3 before I watch the new stuff.  I find the Charlize Theron plotline much more enjoyable because I know the joke that's coming.

I really don't appreciate your sarcastic, anti-comedy tone, Bro!

I really enjoyed it.  Sort of wish they had imposed a time limit on each episode, if only because it would have forced them to be snappier.  I think the freedom of Netflix allowed for a few too many so-so-bits and hand-holding moments.

This kinda sums up what I thought about the original run--which I saw a fair amount of, back when the Sunday night Fox lineup was kind of a ritual with me, the GF, and the GF's son. I always thought it was more funny-odd than funny-ha-ha. Not sure I ever actually laughed once.

I like it,
But dense is a good description. Not as good as the first 3 seasons, but I think I like it.
Breakfast- I'm havin' a time
Wheelies- I'm havin' a time
Headlocks- I'm havin' a time
Drunk Tank- not so much a time
George St.- I'm havin' a time
Brenda- I'm havin' a time
Bingo- I'm havin' a time
House Arrest- I'm still havin' a time

I'm only through the first Tobias episode (with DeBrie). I'm really not sure how to react to that episode. It was funny, but also it struck me as much sadder than the previous episodes and seasons...

I love the idea of the "Sweat and Soak"... and I may take up celebrating my own "Cinco de Quatro"... Or maybe "Cinco de Suzi Quatro"...
