I'm doing the monthly installment plan for my donation. Do I have to wait until the full ten months have elapsed?

I assume mouse pledgers will have to wait a while longer?

I'm happy to get you mp3s of the set or other people who are waiting for their physical CD to arrive.

Nein!  You still get it later in the summer if you're on the installment plan.

*I* wouldn't trust you all, either,
I really don't appreciate your sarcastic, anti-comedy tone, Bro!

This last one features a whole bunch of S&W and their buddies leaving messages for CC in 1984.  Apparently "Aggregated Cardboard" in their primary competitor.

That track was a mind-blower in so many ways  --- shrill cassette answering machine beeps, ten-dollar corporate brain farts ("please by advised whether or not this is going to impact the Reynold's order"), and consummate voice work.  The drunk, profanity-laced phone calls sound like Stevie Blue :)  Brilliant. Absolutely brilliant.

I also got my Kings of Comedy disc signed thingamabobs.  Very exciting!

Still haven't gotten mine yet. I blame Roy Jr. and his trickery.

The ZB bit is classic.

The new lyrics to "Barbershop Lover."  Barbershop Eros.

"It drips down from my carriage erotically to the pleasure of all."

I sent in my pledge money last week and Megan at WFMU told me I should get my swag when they do their next wave of mailing in mid-July.
"You want me to recognize you and I won't. I won't acknowledge you! I deny you. So you keep begging and begging. The door is slammed on you. I want nothing to do with you. You will die unrecognized by me."

I'm listening to the CD again right now.  I already posted about Pudge in a Pudge thread (can't believe I didn't recognize the voice when I heard the calls during the show; there must be more distortion when I listen live than I realized ), but here I wanted to sing the praises of "The Consolidated Cardboard Tapes."  Amazing stuff.  It was particularly lovely to hear Tom being someone other than Tom.  He's  straight man supreme, sure, but, damn, he's so much more than that.  We get hints on the show, but his various characters during this answering-machine bit made me long for more.

Oh, there's also startling new information about the device.  It's way, way bigger than I imagined (not that I've spent a lot of time thinking about it--I promise).

I just got mine yesterday, Laurie, and all week the DJs were thanking volunteers for sending out mouse premiums, so I bet you'll get yours soon.
