The fast security line at the airport

Tom, I'm not sure how serious you were on the show last week, but the fast security line at the airport is called TSA PreCheck.

You have to apply for the Global Entry program in order to be eligible for TSA PreCheck. The first step is to go to this website, fill out the application and pay $100. You should be preliminarily accepted, which means you will then schedule an in-person interview with a Customs & Border Protection officer at an airport (Newark and JFK both have offices) for final approval. Mine took about 15 minutes. If approved there, you will be given a Known Traveler Number, which you enter in your frequent flyer profile and/or when booking a flight.
"Alright, well, for the sake of this conversation, let's say the book does not exist."
