Herzog Film Screenings in Chicago
« on: October 12, 2013, 09:55:38 PM »

From the Music Box Theatre's site:

Friday 18 - Tuesday 22 October 2013
This week, we’re taking a look at the amazing first phase of Werner Herzog’s long and idiosyncratic career. This fearless maestro of impossible feats, anarchic follies, and bleak visions, Herzog dazzled the film world of the day with his surreal exploration of the human condition.
We will be screening among others the iconic Fitzcarraldo, the harrowing Aguirre, the Wrath of God, and his very first feature, Signs of Life. Herzog’s films are meant to be seen in the cinema, and we will be presenting all of these on 35mm!
