Ultimate Best Show Playlist?
« on: December 20, 2013, 09:51:20 AM »
After listening to the final Best Show on Tuesday, I thought it would be nice to have an Ultimate Best Show mix of staple and meaningful songs Tom played throughout the Best Show. A few that come to mind immediately would be:

Thank You - Led Zeppelin
The Ballad of El Goodo - Big Star
Action & Blockbuster - The Sweet
Bad Company - Bad Company
Gimme Gimme Gimme - Black Flag
Aimee & Ted's farewell song

Suggestions?

Mother 13's seminal "High Dive" album, on a loop.
If I tried, I could probably make at least six figures for shaking my moneymaker.

Anything from the Faces and Abba box sets.

Lots of songs from the Show itself - many here - https://soundcloud.com/tedleo/sets/bestshowforlife

Run (Instrumental) - by Ghostface - Ghostface Killah - Run (Instrumental)  and/or the Trans Am bed music

On the other hand, some songs are key to the show that you may not want to listen to...

Young Girl - Gary Puckett and the Union Gap
Porcupine Pie - Neil Diamond
Love Gun/Dr Love/ lots of nonsense choices - Kiss
