Thanks! I was hoping that this was recorded and would be made available, but I guess I can wait until November until the glorious return.

Such a nice piece. Too bad it gets docked a notch for poor proofreading.

In addition to relaunching The Best Show, Scharpling is also working on a massive 16-disc, 20-hour box set of Best Show calls with his comedy partner John Wurster, which comes out in March.

Sounds like hes going to have a some kind of similar set up as that Anthony Cumia Show thing, minus the cameras maybe.

i watched a few minutes of that show... seems like prime material for a sound collage.

I'm mostly curious as to how Tom plans on monetizing the show.  For some reason, I can't picture him reading Adam and Eve dot com ads on the air, but that's the only model I've ever seen for non-subscription podcasts.
