@midnight -  Tom Scharpling, Jon Wurster, and Chris Gethard on the panel?

This is not news... it was just an idea. Since Tom seems to like and dislike the show, I could just see the 3 of them causing a much need ruckus.

Scharpling, Wurster and Todd Barry?
Scharpling, Wurster and Jake Fogelnest?
Scharpling, Wurster and Andy Daly?
Scharpling, Wurster and Jon Daly?

I think they would class the show up.

It is not fan fiction.  I just thought it would make a cool episode of @midnight. A bunch of fans can send messages if they were interested.
Also, I noticed Tom has some mixed comments about the show.

Ok so posting a thread with your fantasy contestants is not fan fiction. Got it.

No, it's not. I was just saying "wouldn't this be cool or interesting? This could happen. Would Tom do it?"

It is not impossible, nor is it a fantasy. Both of them have contacts at Comedy Central.  It is something that is possible. Since Tom tweeted about the show, I wanted to ask what fans thought of the show too. I am not placing them in scenarios in Newbridge or anything...

This fits in with "show discussion."

You started cursing at me about organizations of thread topics in a forum for show that is not even on the air anymore.

Thanks for being a buzzkill.
Jeesh, lighten up.

Sorry to butt in, but the OP does sound like fan fiction. Take it to the FF thread.
Ever do nothing and gain nothing from it?
Ever feel stupid and then know that you really are?
Ever think you're smart and then find out you aren't?
Ever play the fool and then find out that you're worse?

You changed the subject of this thread from "@midnight - Tom Scharpling, Jon Wurster, and Chris Gethard on the panel" to "@midnight - will Tom Scharpling, Jon Wurster, and Chris Gethard be on the panel?" after my first reply, so originally you weren't asking what fans thought but speculating. And considering that Tom has nothing to promote; that he has railed against the show numerous times on the popular social networking and microblogging platform Twitter; that he skewered Chris Hardwink constantly during the audio collages, during other parts of earlier Best Show episodes, and on podcast appearances; and that he has an aversion to physical performance, saying in a 2006 interview with Ben Kharakh that, "The couple of times I've gone onstage, I've realized that that's where I'm meant not to be. I get really uncomfortable and it's just not fun for me . . .  I'm just not comfortable onstage"; yes, I agree that it is possible, would be cool, and could happen.

I really don't appreciate your sarcastic, anti-comedy tone, Bro!

Oh, nm. This show is dope. Mewes and Kev appeared on it:

I can see an upcoming Wurster and Scharpling appearance. Maybe throw Mewes in the mix?

They'd have plenty to talk about, like that time Chris Hardwick called into the Best Show to promote his dumb youtube video show and, like all podcast trash, inevitably cursed.

I had no idea he'd ever called into The Best Show. That must have been painful.

It was short, didn't take Hardwick long to bring the filth. It was back in the summer of 2009 on the epic six-hour star studded episode.

Hodgeman was on Hardwick's podcast and discussed Hardwick getting GOMP'd. Hardwick thought that he was on a podcast. Hodgeman stated (and I paraphrase), "Scharpling takes the fact that he is on the radio very serious and takes pride in that."

I actually just stumbled upon the episode where Hardwick called in. Tom had not really been saying much about Hardwick before this call. It's sort of during the genesis of his going off on podtrash. The call isn't all that painful.

PFT and John Hodgman are in studio, and Hardwick calls into the show which is full of celebrities. He starts talking about his new show Web Soup and kind of going back and forth with the guests. Tom really stays out of the conversation for the most part. Then Hardwick curses, which Tom just tees off on. He starts calling it "Podcast 101" and he hangs up on him. Hardwick tries to call back to the show but Tom tells AP Mike not to let him through and dictates to AP Mike to repeat the following to Chris Hardwick on the phone:

"We are on the radio. We speak like adults on the radio. This is not a toilet mouth podcast."
