Does anyone know who played Woodsy, the Utica rapper who loved Ditello's Subs, in that one call from 2002? He sounded a bit like JW, but couldn't be because there was a point when they were both on the line speaking to each other.

We don't know his name, but Jon Wurster has said that he's a friend of his.

The same guy calls as C.C. Tennessee in the Patriot Zone (also from Utica) and one other time as someone else. I think I mentioned it elsewhere on the board.

I would love to see all the various regulars from years past show up on the new show--would be great to bring in new listeners. Where are Hodgman, Oswalt, Klausner, Maron, etc...there are a lot of them!

I keep seeing refs in people's twitter feeds about how now is the time to start to get the word out about the show. I'm in a bad mood so I'll say it...where are all the big names to help Tom out? Every week there should be one of these big names like Marc Maron (I guess he's shooting his series or whatever)...they were all more than happy to get free pub on the old show, time for them to help the f--k out now!

I REALLY want Fraction to call in. Has Kelly Sue ever? I feel like she would kill it. As for regulars, Laurie and Julie, obviously, Julie Klausner, Dave from Knoxville, Fred from Honolulu just off the top of my head. I already got Jelloman and Kurt Vile. Also, the more I watch NXT, the more I was Aiden English to call in.

No wishlist.  I personally don't want the Best Show to just be non-stop rumination.  And there have been a LOT of great callers in the past -- and if they want to call, great!  But an important part of Best Show history is all the waves of specific callers that have come and gone, stressing the latter word.
