I don't think he's called for a while, so this may not be timely, but:
There is a caller to the Ron and Fez show who goes by the handle of "Fred from Brooklyn" who is a lot more coherent than TBSOWFMU's Fred, but who's voice sounds almost identical to me.  I'll get a sound clip the next time I hear him for comparison, but I was going through the photos on ronfez.net from a recent event and found this:


There you have it.  That's your man.  Fred from Brooklyn.

Re: a more coherent Fred voice, he dropped most of his "Fredness" when he called the night The Kid went down with his kidney stone.  My guess is that is closer to the voice he uses when calling The Ron and Fez program.
