Happy Easter

Whatever Easter means to you, hope it's a good one.
I am sick today, so I am, as my facebook status states, "Celebrating the risen Son by laying out in the risen sun."

This is what Easter means to me (this year): four days of egg-eating (count: 11), movie-watching, word-writing isolation (self-imposed). I love it, it's like I bought myself a couple of bonus days where I get to catch up on work and movies while everybody else I know are either visiting relatives or have relatives visiting them.

I celebrated by eating an egg white scrambled egg thing.

My daughter and I hid eggs (plastic and hardboiled) along the path through the woods near our house.

Later we will check to see how many were found and taken.

On Passover we eat a lot of eggs! COINCIDENCE??

Usually we get together with my in-laws and eat ham and other delicious things but this year they came to our place for Passover instead. So we're having matzoh kugel and chicken and string beans. I did get to go to the zoo today and saw lots of kiddies dressed up in adorable spring/Easter outfits. Cute!

Well, I went and saw "Hot Tub Time Machine" and went to Krispy Kreme. They have new banana flavored donuts so I tried them. They were pretty good.

But, I did get a bouquet of wildflowers on the windshield of my car. I don't know who put them there but that was pretty awesome.
