Now we get to see how they make nem Goldenberg's.

I am looking forward to this.  Also good Philly food info on "Sandwiches You Will Like" which I have previously plugged here.

one of the best programs to ever hit PBS. this fella - http://www.hollyeats.com/ - used to be a food columnist for our local daily rag and writes up short order reviews of similar mom n' pop roadside chow. i don't know how long one can last on the diet this guy consumes - but it all looks pretty tasty..

i grew up (and still live) about a mile from the old goldenberg's plant. they may still make them there - i don't know - but i believe they were sold a few years ago to a company called just born - manufacturers of those horrid marshmallow chickens they sell around easter time. i'm sure roy shed a few lonely tears into his frank's black cherry wishniak (honestly - probably the tastiest soft drink ever) the day his beloved peanut chews left town.
