i grew up (and still live) about a mile from the old goldenberg's plant. they may still make them there - i don't know - but i believe they were sold a few years ago to a company called just born - manufacturers of those horrid marshmallow chickens they sell around easter time. i'm sure roy shed a few lonely tears into his frank's black cherry wishniak (honestly - probably the tastiest soft drink ever) the day his beloved peanut chews left town.
