Post by: TheAce on January 23, 2007, 12:42:43 AM
Ive already found it.

See if you can make it through the whole trailer. You can't.
This will hands down be the worst movie of 2007.
I challenge you to find worse.

I wished I hadn't made it through the whole trailer, because now I have no choice but to agree with Tom about Tom Waits.

this reminds me of another movie i saw once where the horror of a wwii concentration camp was the backdrop for silly jokes and slapstick.

I liked that film, I like Down By Law too.

I'm insulted that my fake video contest entries haven't been mentioned yet.

What about The Numer 23??  I think The Number 23 looks totally worse.  Jim Carrey gets obsessed with the number 23 for some reason.  He starts going off on how lots of different things either have 2's or 3's or add up to 23 or how 23 becomes other scary numbers when it's added to or subtracted from other numbers.  It's like Pi mixed with the "You'll be thinking about a plate of shrimp, and all the sudden someone will say 'plate' or 'shrimp' or 'plate of shrimp'" bit from Repo Man, also mixed inexplicably with, like, Seven.  For some reason the number 23 makes Jim Carrey go crazy and it looks like he's gonna murder Virginia Madsen in exchange for Virginia Madsen's tired-sodomite-slag alternate self(??).  I almost gotta go cause I feel an awfulsome comin' on!

And then someone says, "I just ate 23 Krispy Kreme donuts in one setting," and Jim Carrey whips it out and pees on Virginia Madsen's dog for no discernable reason!

I threw up in my mouth a little when that trailer was over.

We can only hope 23 can rest in Repo Man's shadow!

Number 23:

Anytime you feels the need to create a character in a movie who obsessivley scrawls arcane symbols all over everything, you should shoot yourself.

If, however, you create a character who builds Devil's Tower out of a broadcoalition of poo, I call that remake gold:

Close Encounters of the Turd Kind

Thanks!

23 = The Crapbala

Batman Returns + pi = 23

23 - 23 = 0 or the number of films Joel Schumacker should have been allowed to make or

Number of times Jim Carrey sticks out his butt in this trailer = 0

I hope that at the end bees fly out of Jim Carrey and it turns out that it's really a Candyman sequel

Joel Schumacher shouldn't be allowed to make movies??!!!
Come on, 8MM and Falling Down are some of the all time most awfulsome movies of recent history.  I love them (especially Falling Down) in a twisted way even though they are complete garbage.  Some people also seem to have fond childhood memories of Lost Boys, I don't get it.  After the scene with shirtless be-chained guy playing sax is over it's all downhill.

That CIA movie "The Good Shepherd" was terribly boring, I mean like if that dude set out to make a deliberately boring movie he succeeded.  And I watched all of "Koyanisquatsi."

That's the LAST time I ever rely on Larry King to tell me what movie to go see.

Bor----rrrring.

Oh lord, I watched all of Koyanicrapsi, too. AWFUL. That's maybe a movie Bryce would enjoy. You know, if he turned the Philip Glass muzak down and cranked up the Dead. Ugh.

I loved Koyaniquattsi or however it is supposed to be spelled (feeling too lazy to hit the "back" button and find out but strangely enough, not too lazy to type all of this) and I don't mind saying so.  I've seen it two or three times actually, and no, I do not use drugs.

fido: You should check out the sequels.

Powaqqatsi http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0095895/

and

Naqoyqatsi http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0145937/

or, alternatively, listen to Lou Reed's "Metal Machine Music."

Yeah, Naqoyqatsi really ties the three films together plotwise.

In the long run, this *could* trump The Tiger vs. The Snow.

By the way, my money is on the tiger.

If anything can stop the war (even for a day), it's this.

"with the extraordinary participation of Tom Waits" What does that even mean?! Has there ever been a more ridiculous credit?

Take note of line three: Introducing Pete Jamison As 'Manager For Life'.

Wow. This is going to be an amazing run for bad film. Im half expecting to see an epic tradgedy staring Carlos Mencia next week.

And in the Tiger vs. Snow battle, which I liken to Clinton vs. Obama, Im taking the snow.
