Wright was the director for the whole series. And it was my understanding (assumption?) that he contributed to the writing, as well. He definitely brought the stylistic touches (whip pans, visual homages, etc.)

I actually noticed Mr. Pegg's leggs (sorry) in Shaun of the Dead...I remember thinking they lacked curvature. As in, his calves looked stumpy. I haven't noticed since then, I just remember my thoughts as I watched it.
