I haven't even listened to all of it yet, but the part in the beginning, like 1st or 2nd call, with the Chatroom Vocaliser, where he broke character at the end of his call to say
"Smoke weed."
just before hanging up - totally priceless.

Yeah that was great. I also liked Tommert's calls except when he made those comments to Steinberg at the end. That was weak.

I have to say, I was a little overexcited to hear Mike from the band Hunchback call. When I was recently looking at my copy of their new LP, I realized they were from New Jersey and found myself wondering if they had any connection to WFMU, but dismissed the thought as ridiculous stereotyping on my part to assume that all the cool things from one state were connected. Turns out I was right.

was Tommert the one that called up as Fredrick Douglas too?
that kid is hilarious.
Also the guy who said something about watching a zombie eating a mans throat and wishing it was him....
that was great
doesn't seem there are as many wacky civilian callers since then
shows matured

why do u think that?
I'd be surprised as hell if it was him
doesn't seem like his kind of humor

I personally find classic Petey's voice annoying.

You are correct. Tommert was never funny, at least not intentionally.
