If we gals are to have a !gender-specific label, I think it's only fair you boys have one as well.  It is far too early for me to attempt to be clever, but perhaps my fellow females will be able to come up with something suitable.

I'm against this - FOTs are FOTs!  It's like Punks and Skins - Unite and Win!!

i agree, friends are friends.
we are not speaking in french, latvian, arabic, or punjabi (among others)!
this is english, a language without noun classes or grammatical genders. there is only one friend. you are either with us or against us! choose your fate: fot or fwd.
none of this LFOT or MFOT.
it's fot or rot.

I'm completely with you, TL.  (After all, since when is "friend" a gender-specific term?)  My post was an attempt to point up the pointlessness (and--sorry-- offensiveness) of this project of proposing feminine forms of "FOT" without coming off as an earnesto feminazi (to use a term I loathe).

(Wow, there's a heavy and inadvertent reliance on alliteration in this post.)

This line reads like Pollard lyrics. I'm just saying, even though I know somebody here hates the phrase "I'm just saying".

Who hates that?  I started saying that after listening to D.J. Terre T, who is listed officially as foremost in the HOT (Harem Of Tom) :-*

You know, I debated rewriting that because of the echo but then decided I liked it.

I like the FOT Women's Caucus.  It sounds so official and businesslike.  Or if you prefer, for a paramilitary twist, it could be the FOT Women's Brigade.
