We all like what we like and criticizing that which other people enjoy is ridiculous and mean spirited because pursuing anything that doesn't hurt others that causes you joy is a worthwhile venture. However grown men who are into My Little Pony are fucking weird.

Yeah, I don't get the brony thing either, but from what I've heard many times that the new "My Little Pony" is surprisingly good... Still, I can't bring myself to watch it...

As far as Andrew WK speaking at the convention.... He will speak at any convention Steev Mike tells him to (cue ominous Alex Jones-like music)....

I have a 4.5 year old daughter who LOVES this show. It's visually pleasing and pretty funny, but I could take it or leave it.

My 9yo daughter watches it and occasionally I watch it with her. It's done by the same person (people?) who did the Power Puff Girls. It is much better than the original MLP stuff (which we watched when she was maybe 4 or so) but I wouldn't seek it out on my own.

I have an acquaintance who is a brony. In his day job he is doing a post-doc at IU, and I guess there's a bit of a brony faction among the students, too.
