I would say that in the grand quantitative scheme of geographic ranking that the midwest, south, and west all beat out the east coast for the sole reason that more people in THOSE regions acknowledge that part of their existence/region is lame.  The eastern seaboard from Boston down through NYC is in need of a serious humility check.

Waah waah waah.  Waah-waah, waa-waa-wa-wa-waah, wa-wah-wah wah-wa-wa-wa-waaaah.

Is that the opening riff from "Army Bound?"

Bluh-bluh-bluh.  Blahbibby, bloopitty, bloo.  Lookit me - I'm Jasongrote!  Blah blah Army Bound blah.  Etc.

Was the original version of this post so mean that you felt bad and had to go back and edit it?  Please say yes.

I wish.  No - I just originally put all the "bloopitty-bloo" stuff inside the quoted zone by accident.  Serves me right - you know I love ya!

Now write me a receipt so I can tip on outta here...

Ditto, TL.  Though I wish I had proved my devotion by picking a deeper cut.  Tomorrow my eMusic account rolls over, so maybe I'll dive in and get one of those early records with the experimental noise dub, or whatever it was that got those eMusic trolls so irate.
Oh, good heavens. I didn’t realize. I send my condolences out to the rest of the O’Connor family.

I'd like to hear 'em!

Also, I meant to say that "Army Bound" has actually always struck me as more of a bum-bum-bum song than a wah-wah-wah song.  Not to get all technical on everybody.

more of a bum-bum-bum song

I am mature enough that this did not make me giggle even a little bit.

Seriously.

For real.

Yes.  Those humble Texans and Southerners.

I would say that it's mainly New Yorkers and Bostonites that need the humility check, but that some parts of the south have indeed scared/bored the heck out of me.

as a bostonian who has lived in new york, this resentment is only fueling my arrogance.

Thank you for better articulating what I was trying to say with the "waaah-waah-waaahs."
