What's that James Carville quote about Pennsylvania? Something along the lines that it's Pittsburgh and Philadelphia on either side with Alabama in between. I pretty much have to agree with that sentiment.

Yes, Pennsylvania....nothing at all like my own hometown, the cosmopolitan hub of culture and intellect that is Buffalo, NY.

Wait, whaaaaaaaat?
I'm warning you with peace and love.

Oh man, great tag.

I was at a party once and this guy picked a fight with my roommate. When we told him to get the hell out there, he started shouting about how you don't want to mess with his posse from Carnagie (a suburb located 30 min. outside the city). He pulled up his shirt and shouted "'Negie, muthafucka!"

And sure enough, he had a 'thug life' style tattoo on his stomach in caligraphy that read 'Negie .

Pronounced 'Nay-gie'

I would say that in the grand quantitative scheme of geographic ranking that the midwest, south, and west all beat out the east coast for the sole reason that more people in THOSE regions acknowledge that part of their existence/region is lame.  The eastern seaboard from Boston down through NYC is in need of a serious humility check.

I'm just now listening to the podcast, so I'm unsure if he called back later in the show, but I doubt it because I'm envisioning him and Henry never realizing they got hung up on and still on the phone with each other almost two days later. Having those two on the phone simultaneously was an amazing convergence of blabbermouthery.
