Which one represented Jesus?

Johnny Depp, who is brutally murdered for the sins of others.  Actually, I was talking about how those movies are startling, but not really scary, because they never step outside thier pattern, whereas with something like Eraserhead or the Black Lodge scenes in Twin Peaks you can't figure out what's going on, which leads to real fear.  (But I didn't talk about that in my sermon.  I would have gotten way too many blank stares.)

Pretty cool.  Where did Jason fit in?  Something to do with Numbers, I assume?
"I was in the shower and it occurred to me why the Hendersons named their guest "Harry."  That movie has layers!" ~ Jack Doneghy, 30 Rock.

I think I want to go to your church.

I hear that a lot, but no one ever does.   :(

I think the question, Pastor Josh, is why does Spike have a beef with you?

That's what I'm worried about.  I hope he doesn't, but it sounds like he might.

Honestly, I don't think that you should pay any mind to Spike.

If someone doesn't like me, I'm fine with that.  But I don't want him to hate me for no reason.  That was the purpose of this topic.  As far as I know, he hasn't even seen it.

As long as you're over 25, I'd say Spike is cool with you.
I'll probably go into the wee hours.

It would be cool if he came to  church, though.

"Cool" is the one that means "terrifying," right?

I never watched Carnivale beyond the first episode but I assume this is turning into a similar thing.

I did model my ministry on the crazy preacher from Carnivale.  And Shepherd Book (especally the hair).

Spike is going to ride his lawnmower to church.

I don't think there's enough Braunschweiger in the world for that trip.

I don't know if I'd say I'm a fan, but my wife gets mad if I don't use them, especially on the good coffee table.  But seriously. . . .
