You know, in something like twenty years the whole "Madonna/Run DMC/artist that doesn't play guitars, maaan" argument is going to look stupid when the entire ballot is like 7 hip hop artists, 5 R&B artists, a few pop artists and Hinder.

and Hinder.

I actually hope they do get in, because whenever I see their name the MST3K fan in me wants to pronounce it "heinder."

It should go without saying that the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is a sham. Jann Wenner and the RRHOF selection committee play favorites and hold far too many personal grudges. That bands like the Monkees, the Stooges, the Modern Lovers, the New York Dolls, and countless others aren't in, renders the RRHOF invalid to me.

With all of that being said, the list of nominees this year doesn't look all that bad. Who would I put in?

ABBA
KISS
The Stooges
Darlene Love
Donna Summer
Genesis

There are only two rock and roll bands on the list.

Maybe they should call it the Rock and Pop hall-of-fame. Just for accuracy's sake.

It ceased to be the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame the minute Miles Davis was inducted. So why not put in Donna Summer and/or ABBA?

I would like Genesis to win and then play 'Invisible Touch' at the induction ceremony.
