Ted Leo is the archiFOT, the FOT supreme, the FOTtest of us all . . .  I could go on.  The last hour of Tuesday's show was superb:  Laura and Ted's duet (a tearjerker if ever there was one), "Rock and Roll Dreams" (is that the right title, by the way?), Tom and Ted's duet (a revelation!), and the WFMUized version of "That's Entertainment" (which should be placed in the WFMU Hall of Fame, if such a thing exists).

Now I just can't wait find out if the Best Show is going to win the marathon (excluding JM in the AM, of course).

TOM: "Rock and Roll Dreams Will Come True."

BARRY "DREAMS'LL!!!!"

TOM: "Rock and Roll Dreams'll Come True."
I really don't appreciate your sarcastic, anti-comedy tone, Bro!

I just wasted two minutes reworking the lyrics to "David Watts" around Teddy Rockstar. I remembered that it was a Ray Davies song, not a Paul Weller tune, once I got to the "gay and fancy-free" part.

Nonetheless, Ted Leo, you have bested Paul Weller. Kudos.
