started up a new band w/ my pal from NYC that got me started on the Best Show. we are called The Echo Friendly and we'll be playing the Buccanneer Lounge this friday (the 7th).  we can reminisce about the time Tom showed up at Gonerfest.  here's the facebook event page:

I will be trapped in an office until 3AM, but I've sent word along to iAmBaronVonTito, so perhaps she can make an appearance. If there's more shows in the future, I'll do my best to get to one.

PS- i only have one awkward anecdote to throw around regarding the first (and so far ONLY) time i met tom.  now if you want to talk about my pal fredericks....

Also, I could mention having to chill out Missing Monuments from trying to beat up Tom for going on about New Orleans.
