Apropos of nothing, has anyone actually seen Seth MacFarlane and Papa John at the same time?

I've thought about this, but with Jimmy Fallon instead of Papa John.

Marine Micheals from Girls.

Good one. I would add:
Shoshanna from Girls
The other Girl who is not Hannah, the one with a vaguely British accent
DJ Davis from Treme
John Goodman's character from Treme (which, if accepted would mean that characters portrayed by Goodman would be in the best and worst lists. I wonder if any other actor will achieve this?)

Scott Schwartz in "The Toy"
Bubba the Love Sponge
Caillou
Fuzzy Dunlop from "The Wire"
Jonathan Schmock, the Maitre'D in "Ferris Bueller's Day Off"

I'd like to throw in these for consideration for the list of Worst Fictional Characters

Mike Myers as Shrek, Fat Bastard or The Love Guru

Mitchell (Joe Don Baker)

Jawas, Sandpeople, Ugnaughts

Greg Proops’ pod-race announcer from ‘SW Episode 1 Phantom Menace'

The Bros in the ‘Bud Light Goes to the Opera’ ad circa early 2Ks

The Barber from ‘The Rock’ played by Anthony Clark

Johnny Rico (Caspar Van Diem in ‘Starship Troopers’)

Mr. Woodcock (BILLY Bob Thornton)

Sloan Sabbith (Olivia Munn from ‘The Newsroom’)

Jim Belushi’s penguin voice in Bob Saget’s ‘Farce of the Penguins’

Mrs. Doubtfire

The kids from ‘Jurassic Park’

Jay Leno as ’self' in ‘Dave’, ‘Major League II’, ‘Contact’, ‘Mad City’, ‘Wag the Dog’, ‘EdTV’, ‘Space Cowboys’, ‘Mr. 3000’

Sgt. Donny Donowicz (Eli Roth from ‘Inglorious Bastards’)

Silent Bob

Sgt. Pepper Billy Shears

The protagonist in the Johnny Maestro & The Brooklyn Bridge song ‘The Worst That Can Happen'

President Frank Underwood

Please add "the Trade Federation delegates" to the Star Wars list. Maybe Jar-Jar Binks is too on-the-nose for this list, but he deserves consideration.

Were there any races (other than the obvious) that George Lucas didn't go after? Without, I think, even understanding that he was going after them, which somehow makes it worse.

I would add:

-Mr. Yunioshi (Mickey Rooney) from Breakfast at Tiffany's.
-The Ultimate Warrior, the wrestler
-Neo, from The Matrix films
-Speedball, from various Marvel Comics
-Superman
-Mac, from Mac and Me
-Mayor McCheese/Fry Guys, from McDonald's
-The Cavemen, from Geico ads
-Any quietly smug white dude from a luxury car ad
-Jack Shephard, from Lost
-Ziggy Sobotka, from The Wire
-Mr. Freeze (as portrayed by Arnold Schwarzenegger) in Batman and Robin

There needs to be one or more characters in movies portrayed by Tom Cruise. Lots of options there, but a lot are the same type of smarmy, so it's hard to choose.

I would agree that Jar Jar Binks should make the list, even if one might be dismissive of Star Wars. That character transcends the geek ghetto with its many layers of awfulness.
