Hey peoples, I was listening to the golden oldies station the other day, playing "Do Wah Diddy", and the announcer says... "there's just one thing that song reminds you of, right...? Bill Murray? Stripes?"

So I naturally thought of Tom and John... can anyone tell me who was the Best Show caller who had all the local bands named after Stripes quotes? It was one of the BS Gems podcasts. Or for that matter, any other references to Stripes? "A not very quotable line from a not very quotable movie" was Tom's comment?

Don't know if this is what you're talking about, but one bit that involves bands named after lines from Stripes comes from "Sucks" - the bit where Jon is a recording engineer who writes songs about things that suck. He explains how he recorded two different band both named after Stripes who hated each other.
