My response was especially ferocious because a moment before I had had a conversation with a friend of mind about the way she overfeeds her cats.  Mind you, I have had this conversation with her several million times before, but each time I get furious.

Oh, I don't question that they're real.  I just thought that one photo was misleading, since it made the rabbit seem much more monstrous than it in fact is.
