The thunder was, uh, not pictured.

Jason looks like he's the slave driver making them jump rope and put random post it notes around the stage. Jump!

Nice haircut on that monitor, stage right.  Also, nice DVD projection of the word "DVD".  A staple of interdisciplinary art events everywhere.

The larger green sheet of paper on the bottom right seems to have the word "PIE" on it.  Is pie part of the show?  If so, what flavour?  or is the pie for after the show?  Is it a reminder for someone to bring pie to the after rehearsal party?  Pie is good.  People don't eat enough pie these days.  All restaurants serve is stuff like hazelnut torte and opera cake.  Whatever happened to pie?

Hey, thanks, Matt.  And thanks for all of the comments and speculation, everyone.  As for what, exactly, we were doing, the actual explanation is considerably less interesting than the photo, so instead I'll just direct you to the Radiohole website.  Suffice it to say that it involved a couple of hatchets, the bad poetry of acid fascist Mel Lyman, the films of Alejandro Jodorowsky and Kenneth Anger, post-it notes, an LP of Tibetan bells played at a slowed-down speed, Mandalas, Alastair Crowley, The Tarot, tall-boys of Bud, naked tai-chi, The Book of Revelations, the early prohibitionist Carrie Nation, and a few sound samples that I think might have been lifted from Bronwyn Carlton's bed music.

John Junk, I think you mean stage left?  But yeah, the DVD thing is totally a multimedia cliche - our joke was that nothing ever appeared on the player and the DVD logo bounced around behind us the whole time.  I even spent about three or four minutes alone on stage, following it with my eyes.

Jane, I wrote that "pie" post-it but I don't remember what it says.  I think it refers to a dirty joke we came up with in rehearsal.
Oh, good heavens. I didn’t realize. I send my condolences out to the rest of the O’Connor family.
